The Alve Area includes the Alve and Andvare (previously called Gjøk) fields on the Halten Terrace, 16 kilometres southwest of the Norne field in the Norwegian Sea. Alve was brought onstream in 2009 and was developed via a four-slot subsea template tied back to the Norne floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel. Four development wells have been drilled on the field. The final investment decision (FID) on Andvare was taken in December 2022. The field is being developed ...
