Kamal is a analyst in our CCUS team, based in Edinburgh. Kamal joined Wood Mackenzie in 2022 as part of our North Sea upstream coverage, where he focused on the UK and led upstream emissions coverage in the region. Kamal currently focuses on the ownership and enhancement of Wood Mackenzie’s global CCUS project dataset, ensuring data quality and accuracy across a breadth of regions.

Alongside this, he provides strategic insight on the global CCUS landscape to project developers, governments, and investors, with a particular focus on development timelines and project value-chain analysis.
